4 Years ago today….

GOODMORNING my friends! FOUR years ago today, on St Vincent de Paul’s Feast day, at this very moment, we were standing on the side of our road watching our home burn to the ground. With noisy fire trucks, people talking, smoke and confusion we watched our dreams crumble into nothing. We walked away not even with shoes on our feet. Just the night clothes on our back. It’s as vivid for us as it was then. If I ever would have known it would take us this long to get back in our feet I may have fainted on the spot. But when fundraisers were cancelled on us, and well meaning people closed down our Trust Fund after 30 days we were stranded with a way to raise the money we needed fast enough. We were homeless for 6 months, with no running water or indoor toilets, took us 18 months to get back in a house after my MOM double mortgaged FOR US. So you can see why I am so thankful to my mom today. This was her last act of generosity after a lifetime of it. Her last gift to us. It wasn’t until later I seen it was St Vincent Feast day.. but it was so fitting really. So much more I will share in my upcoming book of our fire “Breadcrumbs from God.” But today thank you St Vincent for taking care of us all these years. And thank you mom for being there for us ?You can help us rebuild or see our story at www.davidsonfamilytrust.com  ? and support us at  www.gofundme.com/davidson-family-trust
