Okay friends I need to bear my soul…

by Rita Davidson

When your heart is weary…God will lighten it for you. Today as I was walking after a stressful morning, to my amazement my St Therese bush has bloomed! This is no small feat you see. This bush has not bloomed since our fire. This bush survived our fire and was cut down. Then was transplanted 18 months later here. This old heritage rose I never thought would survive but after all this time here it is. Thank you Jesus for a small respite to my day Thursday. Thank you St Therese for being a shining example to me in my work and life. ?? St Therese pray for us. Does anyone know what kind of rose this is? #stthereseoflisieux #sttherese #roses

For those that didn’t see our St Therese Rose bush story from before our fire (and see how massive this rambling rose was, see HERE –> http://www.littleflowersfamilypress.com/st-therese-rose-bush-story/ )

Friday update…..

Okay friends I need to bear my soul…this last year trying to find a house has been a roller coaster. These last two days more intensely so. Trying to find a new house with boys with autism who have panic attacks and meltdowns thinking of moving is NOT easy. Monday we viewed a house and lost it by the time we left the viewing. Unbelievable…The stress had peaked for two days when I found my St Therese rose bush had bloomed. Today it took another twisty turn as we found a house and promptly lost it same day. Plus we lost our chances of financing when no one would lend us to move to a larger home.

After phone calls to our insurance, a builder, a used building store in the area, our carpenter friend Earl and our trustee we have decided to stay and repair and add-on with all their help. It’s been a long time since I felt this much peace and walking in our yard again, I found my st Therese rose petals all looking up at me as “hearts” ?Not one but all of them HEARTS. Isn’t this the most beautiful you have ever seen? God has approved of our staying here and making this HOME…and we now have help from local builders and local stores supporting us. I have never felt so much peace..(how long will it last?) lol  thank you my friends for your prayers please keep them going we have a lot ahead. You will never know what you have done for us…???? #davidsonfamilytrust

The peace to my soul after seeing these petals is unbelievable…. this was Wednesday the Feast of Corpus Christi and I now pray we can get all the help we need to fix this place and add on after every avenue was blocked for us to move.

I pray this story gives you some HOPE in those dark days when things seem hopeless. LOOK for those little glimpses of God’s beauty in your life….and there you will find Him showing you His will.

With much love,
