Why Padre Pio was right…

by Rita Davidson

Ever have a worry that just won’t leave you? You know..those bills that are never ending…then those repairs that come unexpected right when hubby loses his job? Maybe it’s a health crisis that drains your bank account with medical bills and stretches your patience much farther than you thought it could go.

Padre Pio’s advice was “PRAY, HOPE and Don’t WORRY!” and I always come back to this. Mark and I have been together for 32 some years….(that’s a long story I’ll share one day.. 🙂 and through that time we’ve been put thru the ringer… living through poverty for years, losing our manufacturing company that caused me to start LFFA (God closes one door opens another?), my stroke at 26 years, losing our children from the faith and our home (a heartbreak like no other) and our house fire, where we have had to start over literally from scratch (think buying THE dollarstore, EVERYTHING).

So everytime I fret about things…(and believe me I still do) I’m reminded of this wisdom in three words:

PRAY | HOPE  | Don’t Worry  (okay maybe 4)

Then I came across this MEME (oh where would we be without memes today?) LOL

Why do we worry? Well, we don’t put our trust in God and spend time trying to fix things on our own I guess.

When we finally learn that ALL things happen for a reason and for God’s good and our own…we will finally be at peace without worry because we see Him as the kind Father who is just directing our life for us in ways that are unseen to us.

So with that be at peace my friends…

With much love,
