It seems I’ve been terribly lazy here, haven’t I? I mean my last blog post was like ohhhhh ahhhhh so long ago?  EEK!  Well I HAVE been working on THE book and I HAVE been busy taking care of my elderly mother with dementia, still trying to troubleshoot our house issues and may have to MOVE, coping with first the COLD summer then HOT and HUMID one, and my wrist still tender. well, you get the idea.

I interact daily on my Facebook page with 15,000 CATHOLICS! WHooHOO – so I’ve been neglecting you all here. Ooops, my bad. 🙂 There is still time to come join us on my Facebook and interact with praying Catholics who love GOD and Our Lady !  Catholics NEED to BE there, otherwise it will be taken over by those who HATE the faith. So don’t be shy! 🙂

With that said, with all there is to do in my life, I needed a hobby. ha! This has been a struggle for me and the boys. We started art classes last fall, with my elderly mom, my boys and me. My boys are highly gifted in art and I thought this would support them. But hearing them say, “I hate art class”, not just one but ALL of them, (well that was even in MY thoughts some days). I was hoping to just polish up some old talents and see where it went.

So welcome to my latest hobby!

One of my lessons set out…in progress. I finished this one and it was pretty good. I’ll have to get a picture for you on here one day. Sometimes I fight with myself to get it “PERFECT”. Perfection is really overrated.

Here one a few weeks ago… TULIPS! I’m only working on watercolors now as I really wanted to get that perfected. (there’s that word again).

My latest…

Ta da! All that COLOR! I just LOVE color don’t you? It can affect your mood, making you happier or depressed, sad or joyful. Watercolor really STRETCHES me and failing is the best way to find out how good you are.

Much like our spiritual life, when we fail and fall into sin…we never want to despair like Judas…but instead remind ourselves that it is by our faults that we become STRONGER. All that matters in the end is – Heaven. your faults today are just your steps to get there. Let HIM pick you up and keep moving forward!
