a very, Merry Christmas update

a Very, Merry Christmas update

by Rita Davidson

HoHoHo the cheery, chubby man said…just a few days ago.

Yes, it was the Saviors Birth, Our Lord’s Birthday and we celebrated it as well as us humans could.

It was just before Christmas my computer went in for repair. So you haven’t heard a Merry Christmas wish from us, but I was thinking of you all the same. 🙂 When we dropped off my computer, Liam caught a glimpse of Santa (who is really St Nicholas to us).

Then Friday the 23rd we had our Wedding anniversary and so that was another small achievement of 27 years for us. (We had Chinese Take out earlier in the week cause it landed on Friday) This was us looking into a box of goodies we had gotten for each other. 🙂 Whew…

Then, we had a quiet Christmas with our boys and my elderly mother. It wasn’t as merry as other Christmases with our daughters loss of her fiancee heavy on our hearts, but we made the best of it.

The boys enjoyed all they got and I am quite happy having some time off. Our 30 Day Group Study ended after I had extended it a month longer than expected. Some were sad to see it close as they found it such a huge support in the lonely modesty journey. (shhhh GOOD NEWS is I’ll be opening up a brand new Group in the New Year get on the Wait list HERE!)

At this time of year I take down time. It’s my chance to recharge and rest and look at the past year while I plan the new year that God has given me. My goals are simple:

  • to read a good book,
  • put on some new nail wraps
  • maybe sew up some skirts I’ve been meaning to
  • put my feet up ALOT
  • and read another good book 🙂

before life kicks back into high speed in 2017.

We watched It’s a Wonderful Life the day after Christmas while I put on my new Nail Wraps. Ooohhh these were such fun, even though my Christmas Nail Wraps didn’t arrive on time.

They even held up for hand washing, laundry and making dinner!

Then yesterday I was throwing up and sick so I guess I had my feet up? LOL. Here I was testing my coffee, hoping it could stay down. It was a win!

I think I’m doing pretty good. I finished up this Dean Koontz book in three days late yesterday. One of my favorite authors (He’s Catholic and pretty clean in his books, so thankful for that I loved his Brother Odd books :).

With my laptop gone I didn’t suppose anyone noticed that my Black Friday Bulk Sale was still ON? Oh yes…orders have been sneaking in from that sale haha OOOPS! Nothing much I could do about it without my computer. So, I felt bad that I didn’t let anyone else know so they could take advantage of it.

So, now that I have my computer back, it’s official – you can get Immodesty, Satan’s Virtue at BULK Savings until Ephiphany, January 6th.

And then that’s it. So be sure to grab some extra copies now while you can, for 12 Days of Christmas giving. 🙂

Talking about Immodesty, Satan’s Virtue any orders placed in December are still in the queue as we moved the shipping down to our US distributor. They ended up with a printing error that is in the process of being fixed. So we are a bit behind in shipping again, but December orders should start shipping out by next week. I pray, I pray…

Today I got my Christmas Nail Wraps and oooh they are so pretty. I was just saying on my Facebook page, that these are a great way to keep Christmas reminders around after Christmas. You can still pick up these PRETTY CHRISTMAS NAIL WRAPS HERE

I’ll be getting some of these on for New Years here soon. But for now enjoying the pretty flowers I have on. If you ever wanted to try Jamberry but just wasn’t sure how, just contact me and ask for a free Sample!

So, that’s our little update. For now I’m going to find the comfiest corner and my blankie and cuddle up with my next book and wait for next year. haha

So thank you for being there with me this whole year. I’m so grateful for you all.

Until next year, we wish you a most blessed Christmastide and a holy, Happy New Year from all of us!

With tiredness and love,

Rita 🙂
