Day 34 – Immodesty Satan’s Virtue 1st Edit done!

Well, right on time, my first edit of “Immodesty, Satan’s Virtue” is done! What a trip back memory lane reading my own book from 16 years ago! My children were younger, I was writing about a topic that I was fired up about since there was NO OTHER comprehensive book on Catholic modesty in print at THAT time! ALOT has happened in 16 years…both good and bad.

After ALL the crosses I have been made to suffer after this book was first started in 1999, I shuddered to even start editing this book. I’m being transparent when I say I nearly walked away from touching this book at all.

From betrayals, court cases, estranged children and then losing EVERYTHING in our fire, I have to admit I’ve had a FEW panic attacks. But, I pressed on…

I realized my heart still goes out to those who have NEVER heard of this subject. My heart weeps for those who have become DISHEARTENED at trying to stay modest in an diabolically immodest world. My soul wants to SCREAM at those who have taken the message of modesty and TWISTED it into something it is NOT.

I’ve realized by re-editing this book, that I still have that same ZEAL for those needing to understand this. So many of you that read my First Edition said, “how it changed your life”, “opened your eyes” and “confirmed what your heart already knew”.

My book was so comprehensive it touched on fashion history, Church history, Femininity and Womanhood and modesty for Men, just to name a few!

It was the foundation reference for members of Our Lady’s Martyrs of Purity Crusade© that I started in 1999 in a yahoogroup where I coached and challenged hundreds of women on difficult situations or questions they had on modesty.

Now with a fresh editing ready, I’ve got some surprises up my sleeves for this new edition. What I need from you is your COMMENTS!

As you all know, we lost our home, business and van in a devastating fire July 2013. That means I lost the BOXES of letters, comments, reviews that first readers sent me. 🙁 Oh, yes, my heart still aches for all that we have lost, but God now expects me to move forward. So I ask you all, to please continue to PRAY for me.

And if you HAVE read an earlier edition, (whether you LOVED it OR HATED IT)  PLEASE send me your COMMENTS HERE. (YES, I can take even the criticisms)

PRAY I WILL have COURAGE to overcome the ODDS it will take to bring this title back in print for new readers. And watch for upcoming news on the re-opening of “Our Lady’s Martyrs of Purity Crusade© Membership League!
