It’s a Sad day

Well Election Day is over for Canada. We now have a new and progressive Prime Minister that is committed to CHANGE.
Scanning a newspaper yesterday about the election they said something like that “old minority ideas that are cumbersome attachments held by our past prime minister will not be held by Him.”

IT IS ironic how Christianity has become a minority today? Another local newspaper recently belittled a local creationism speaker, so I wrote a rebuttal. It’s not something I have ever done before, but how can we sit and do nothing while evil grows?

How has our Catholic faith become the butt of so many jokes when it once shone like the jewel it really is?

Perhaps we have to look to ourselves, to find the answers:

While scanning Facebook one day, I found this one Novus Ordo Insider showing Catholics dancing, singing and shouting at Holy Mass. (1)
I was utterly shocked when I seen video after video of shocking exposition of the Blessed Sacrament with gyrating dancers and shouting like tribal war dancers going on. How can this be?

Jesus in the Most Blessed Sacrament is really and truly hanging on the Cross – is He not?
And if we know that to be true then we have hundreds of (well-intentioned) Catholics, dancing, singing, gyrating at the foot of the cross of our dear Lord.
Oh the sacrilege! How can Our Lord stand it?
Then I look at our election results and I finally understand. It is not God that has made us suffer with bad leaders, it is US.

Looking at all those hundreds of people from the US, Canada, Phillipines, and Argentina dancing in front of the Blessed Sacrament, I mean how can we alert so many thousands, that this is NOT Catholic? How can we understand the depth of the damage that is done to souls by this? How can we get back what we have lost? My heart sank even farther just thinking of this.

Then another blow to our beautiful Catholic faith. Anthony Perlas, a self-proclaimed Catholic began a “Latin Mass Society” that has been growing all over Facebook and Instagram and more. I’ve been watching his work for some weeks and have gotten increasingly sick to my stomach. Somehow he has invented the idea of Catholic veiling, prayers, young girls, seduction and impurity all fit together? His website shows young girls, veiled, all posing for him in lewd and some naked pictures. (2)

Father Fryer from the FSSP has finally put out a warning about him HERE. (3)

What scandal is being caused by this one man? Young girls are drawn in to his strange theology and false piety to model with veils and finding themselves in precarious situations? Heaven help save us from the wolves in the world. Parents watch over your daughters!

Lastly, we have the latest Synod that is threatening to tear the Church apart by admitting in SIN, all while Pope Francis refuses to correct those trying to tear the Church apart.(4)

How did we get to this mess? We are ALL guilty in the eyes of God.

How many rosaries have you missed cause your too busy? I HAVE.
How many of you mistake real catholic modesty as a t-shirt and jeans – cause it’s COMFORTABLE?
How many of us have lied a little, cheated a little, and complained a lot?
how many of us LOVE comfort and DREAD suffering?One LOOK from God makes the walls of Hell SHAKE.There is no room for mediocre Catholics today. I’m sorry but it just won’t cut it. Our lady said, ‘the good will be martyred”!?

Our Canadian election was ironically on the Feast of the Canadian Martyrs Sept 19^th who suffered so much for this country. My US friends you have an election coming up soon too.

More suffering is coming for us yes, but what are WE going to do about it!?
Our Lord is looking for a few good souls to console His wounded heart. He is looking for a few generous souls that will wipe His brow. There is SO much that CAN be done!

He’s looking for a few SAINTS to build for Him tabernacles of Gold in their hearts where he can lay His head and rest.

He is looking for a few generous souls to welcome Him to make up for the HUNDREDS that are crucifying Him anew.

My friends YOU need to step up to the plate today. You need to stop wanting COMFORT and EMBRACE the Cross. OUR LORD never had COMFORT.

YOU need to become that vessel of grace He needs today. So much evil is in the world because WE are not cooperating with grace. While those that love sin are focusing all their efforts to bring down the Church.

Each of us by our choices, our love for truth, our love for real catholic modesty can become the vessel He Needs to send his grace into the world and overturn the evils that are growing.

Will you not today join me in being that vessel of grace? Yes? HOW, SHARE with me HOW?

His heart is weary, let us show him with our modesty and charity and sacrifice for souls that we will be that vessel.

Well unfortunately Canada is not the only country to suffer. There is a man named Dan Barker who started the “Freedom From Religion Foundation” He used to be a pastor and for some reason stopped believing in Jesus and is attacking us Catholics here in Belen New Mexico. New Mexico is historically a Catholic state because of the Spanish Conquesidors , and so we have names for cities like Los Cruses, and Belen. Los Cruses meaning the crosses (after the three crosses which one Jesus was crucified) Belen means Bethlehem in Spanish and this Dan Barker is suing our very small and poor town forcing them to get rid of our nativity scene so he can put up something Atheist in its place. I am trying to find as many organizations as possible to help us keep our nativity. Also, I’m trying to reach as many who believe their is a Jesus (no matter what the church) to join in for a week of publicly praying for Dan Barker. (in the Bible it says to pray for your enemies) I do rosary daily and I pray myself to sleep every night praying for the world.

  Prayer is all we have Amy,
  It seems the devil has the upper hand in some places, but we must never give up fighting for freedom for The True Faith.
  You have a wonderful history there in New Mexico, so be sure your prayers are being heard in heaven. Some of us are just suffering for the Church so it doesn’t dissapear I think.

My husband and I are helping a very pious priest to plant a church where we live. He says the church changes you not you changing the church. I’m old and very ill but I do my best. I sent you rosaries so ladies in the ministry can have free rosaries. I’m in the process of making more for our own church we are planting and for defend life.

All of these things that I have read are making me sick. It is overwhelming how much evil there is in this world and the sad part is that most people, young and old, don’t see it. You ask, “what will I do to fight this evil?” Currently, my friend and I are attending Eucharistic Adoration once a week. I also put daily scriptures and explanations in my daughters lunch. I asked her the other day if she’s reading them. She said she was and keeping each one in her purse. I’m doing the same for one of my sons. What I will add to this is also trying to reach my other 3 sons by sharing scripture with them and continuing to pray, pray and pray some more. Any other guidance you can give me, Rita, would be most welcome. Love that you post things on FB. Julie

  So good to hear from you on here. and what a GREAT question!
  Yes, it is sad and scary what is going on in the world and the Church today. If we don’t see it, that is even more scary as we must be living in denial.
  As for what more you can do, well you can pray, pray and pray some more…That sure comes first. But perhaps a few good things to pray for are.
  1. Pray that God leads you to HIS truth. In these days, we are bombarded by false truths so often we are having to distinguish truth from fiction and from lies very often!
  2. Pray for God to show you as yourself. We often are living with many logs in our eyes.. 🙂 And to know ourselves is the first step to humility and growing in grace.
  3. Educate your children how to LOVE God, really love God not for what He can do for them but what WE can do for HIM.
  4. Educate yourself on the issues that are attacking our children DAILY, like modesty and impurity (highly recommend my upcoming book, “Immodesty, Satan’s Virtue”!)
  5. Make the faith reachable not impossible. Maintain the BASIC foundation of rules for our faith, including Ten Commandments and Modesty and such but be sure to stress more the fun, and the joy and the charity that is available to us all when we are open to GOD’s WILL each day.
