My book and 100 years of Fatima 1917-2017

I have been neglecting my writing so very badly. I feel bad that you have all been wondering where I am and where this book is. I am committed to start writing here once a week again while I finish up my book, “Immodesty, Satan’s Virtue”. The book has taken MUCH more of my energy than I could have ever imagined. Researching for proper references, redoing footnotes, calling for permissions, delays and errors and more. When my editor Deborah wrote me and asked me to pass this along to you I was so relieved it wasn’t all in my head,

“Please tell your readers the book is nearly ready (at least as far as the notes are concerned), and I apologize for the delay. You may remember at the beginning of the project I was hesitant to take it on, as I wasn’t sure if my concussion symptoms would slow the process, and I think they actually did. Usually I am very prompt in completing editing work, and I’m disappointed that yours has taken me longer than expected. Please extend my apology to your readers with the promise that the book will be well worth the wait, and everything happens in God’s perfect timing!”

I could not have asked for a BETTER editor than I have! She is gifted with a heart of gold and a LOVE of this topic. After her car accident we weren’t even sure she could do it, but you must know how hard we have both been working to get you the BEST book we can for you. Making sure this book will have the least of errors, (that sure bugged a few of you. haha )! We fixed footnotes, resources and a few more surprises – will assure you get the best book you will not only enjoy but you will LOVE!

I will not be satisfied until you truly fall in LOVE with this book!

As I worked on the book this week I was reading a blog post on Fatima and realized with amazement that all our delays have brought this book into the 100th ANNIVERSARY of Fatima, who this book has always been dedicated. My heart was overjoyed, while unfortunately you have waited SO long…for this book that survived a fire, is now being released within the 100th anniversary of Fatima! How great is GOD to plan all these details? Isn’t it amazing? I sure had NO idea it was beginning on Pentecost!

As we watch our precious world darken more and more each day. Let us remember what Our Lady of Fatima asked for and PRAY without ceasing as the Angel taught the children:

Fatima is unfolding before our eyes. All those years we have been sleeping, this sleepy giant has been in wait. Just as the Disciples were sleeping in the Garden when Our Lord needed them most. We have all been in a dream, waiting for someone ELSE to do PENANCE, someone ELSE to say the Rosary, someone ELSE to make sacrifices, someone ELSE to make the First Saturdays, someone ELSE to CONSECRATE themselves to Our Lady.

 It’s time for us to STEP UP and do what Our Lady asked of ALL of us. That includes your Rosary, Penance AND MODESTY.

Everyone can say their rosary, but tell them to be MODEST and you hear all kinds of complaints! Modesty is PART of the Fatima message, it is NOT OPTIONAL. To really understand what Our Lady forewarned us about… read my book, that I will be releasing SOON!
