Conditions of Membership
Anyone who may be in need of the prayers of this Crusade may be enrolled as an ASSOCIATE MEMBER. Associate Members will benefit by all the Masses and prayers of other members, but for whatever reason cannot participate as an active member. Choose this if you want to enroll someone for the benefit of the prayers for them, while they will receive no Membership notice or contact from us.
To become an ACTIVE MEMBER one must be willing to fulfill the conditions of membership by practicing, to the best of their ability, the Crusade Rules (below).
Please note: This ‘Promise to Our Lady’ is not binding under sin.
Crusade Rules:
1. To make daily reparation to the Sacred and Immaculate Heart for all the immodesty in society at large and those in our own Church. Remembering always how greatly Our Lord is offended, especially at the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass, and how greatly Our Lady of Sorrows is saddened by the foolishness of her children.
Ways to make reparation …
We will make reparation by: a) exteriorly – by dressing to the best of our ability, precisely as the Church has taught us. We predominately use our dress to show our adherence to the Church’s teaching because it is by our exterior actions that we will ultimately affect our interior – spiritual side.
b) By practicing modesty in our manners and behavior so that our interior matches our exterior. Our modest dress is not to be a covering for our immodest ways. We must make an effort to practice modest actions and behavior if they do not come natural to us. This includes avoidance of improper TV shows, movies, literature, people and places that may be an occasion of sin for us, those with us, or for others who may see us.
2. To offer up our sufferings for those souls in purgatory, most in need of our prayers, especially those who are there for sins of impurity and for those souls who are in most danger of falling. Remember it was Our Lady at Fatima that said, “Most souls that fall to hell are from sins of impurity”. Offer up each day by saying this prayer that was taught by Our Lady of Fatima, and to be said whenever making a sacrifice. “O my Jesus, it is for love of Thee, for the conversion of sinners, for the Holy Father, and in reparation for the sins committed against the Immaculate Heart of Mary that I offer this sacrifice to Thee.” and “Jesus, Mary and Joseph – I love you, save souls!”
3. To say a five decade Rosary daily for all of Our Lady’s Crusade members intentions, for the Triumph of the Immaculate Heart, and the intentions of this Crusade. Before the Blessed Sacrament, if possible.
4. Each morning to recite the CRUSADE PRAYER which we have adopted as members of Our Lady’s League of the ‘MARTYRS OF PURITY’.
CRUSADE PRAYER For Our Lady’s League Members:
“My Queen! My Mother! I give myself entirely to thee; and to show my devotion to thee, I consecrate to thee this day my eyes, my ears, my mouth, my heart, my whole being without reserve. Wherefore, good Mother, as I am thine own, keep me, guard me, as thy property and possession.” Raccolta, No.340 (Indulgence 500 days)
