Plus Size Apron review

Need an Apron for that outfit?

Thank you everyone for all the emails you sent me after my frustration with small aprons! I guess I wasn’t the only one with that irritation. With The Modesty Lectures taking up my time since July, I’ve been very distracted and have been meaning to share this with you…

Beautiful modest you

Excuse my messy house… yes still homeschooling and this was in the summer when it was hot. I don’t do ‘hot’ anymore. I just swell up and melt! 🙁 I’ll be talking about that more in an upcoming post on Weight loss since you all love that topic so much. 🙂

When Leah offered to send me an apron, I really was doubtful it would fit. I mean how could it with my size? But I was pleasantly surprised when even the long ties reached.

extra long ties – BONUS !

Yes that is my mom in behind me…. yes she’s still with us, thanks be to God 🙂

I LOVE this one..

“I love hugs, I love kisses, but I especially love help with the dishes!” Oh my word my dishwasher is still waiting to get installed! ugh

She says, “Leah’s Legacy is a small, home-based, custom sewing and embroidery business. The business blossomed from seeds planted over many years of hobby and gift sewing. I love to give handmade, personalized, one-of-a-kind gifts! When I would be asked by friends to make things for them, I did so with great joy. Then the need arose locally for the stock of embroidered missal covers. I gladly rose to the occasion! Once I began making them, it occurred to me that the need for these covers was greater and more wide-spread. So the online component of Leah’s Legacy was born. In all I do, may the Will of Almighty God be done.

The Name

Why Leah’s Legacy? Leah is a combination of the first two letters of my name and my husband’s name. It’s also the name of a very special little girl that we’ve spiritually adopted. Pray for the unborn!”

So enjoy having a peek at Leah’s website with many apron varieties, including some Christmas ones – take a peak at her website:

and come back here and let me know which one you get! Maybe we will be twins?! 🙂

It was lovely to see the new apron! I was surprised to see it was sent to you by my friend, neighbor, and fellow parishioner! She does beautiful work. I have a lovely bedtime pocket pillow she made for my now 4 year old.
