Where Does God Show us HIS love?

Where Does God Show us HIS love?

by Rita Davidson

When crosses come, sometimes they bring up questions we are not prepared to answer. WHY would God do this to us? is the most common question.

The WORLDS answer to this is:
“well cause there IS no God.”
“Why would God let THIS or THAT happen?”

                                                 Oh ye of LITTLE faith.

The problem is the WORLDS answer to this CATHOLIC question is wrong, because they are not SEEING this from GOD’s EYES.

FBAug10You see, when we SEE life through GOD’s eyes then SUDDENLY the blinders are pulled off and we can SEE more clearly what before was so difficult.

St Ignatius writes, “It is God’s love for us whence flows all the bitterness as well as all the sweets of this life.”

THAT is seeing it from GOD’s perspective. We were not made to have a HAPPY life, we were meant to have a JOYFUL life.

The world is looking for HAPPINESS which is why they are so unhappy.

As Catholics we have to look for JOY. Since Joy is what arrives when we finally embrace our cross.

I pray this lightens your burden today as it helps with mine.

Praying for you all today.

With love,

Rita Xo 🙂

Thank you so much for this. I had completely misunderstood this message. I am pleased that I need to focus on your words….such as ‘joy ‘ and what arrives when we finally embrace our cross.

Have a blessed and inspired day Rita.
