When this movie first came out we watched it. We now watch it every Lent. It is one of my MOST favorite movies of Christ’s life. (Did you hear Mel Gibson is now working on the sequel about the Resurrection?)
Granted it is very difficult to watch. Tissues are very needed. My favorite scenes are those showing Jesus life with Mary, His mother…. oh I could meditate on those…
